Come prepared wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement and stretching. It is normal for your body temperature to drop during the stretch so it may be a good idea to have a sweatshirt/long sleeve/blanket on hand to ensure you’re comfortable.
Prior to getting on the table for your stretch session, your stretch therapist will discuss questions you filled out on your intake form to help guide your session. This may include injury history, medication intake, soreness, history of surgery etc.
After this we will move to the table where your stretch therapist will perform a movement assessment to see how your body moves and where you may be experiencing pain. From there we will begin your stretch.
Expect your stretch therapist’s hands to be on you during your session. I will communicate with you to see how you’re feeling and make any adjustments if needed. I will have you breathe with me through most of your session and add some active components when necessary.
After your session, I’ll have you get up and move around to see how your body is feeling. We will discuss treatment frequency and book accordingly.

Each body is unique and we all hold stress differently.
After your first stretch, you can expect to receive a recommendation for how often you should get stretched. This could range from 2x/week, to once every 1-2 months.

Women are suggested to wear leggings or yoga pants and a comfortable top.
Men are suggested to wear sweatpants and a comfortable top.
Shorts are acceptable, but please wear compression shorts underneath if your shorts are baggy.
It is normal for your body temperature to drop as your body starts to relax during your stretch. It is recommended to bring a hoodie or long sleeve to ensure you are as comfortable as possible!

FST is a pain free modality that creates space for the body to relax and let go of held tension. This is the gateway into the parasympathetic nervous system, which is where healing takes place. This creates one of the most relaxing moments for some much needed self care.
Not only does FST target muscle tissue, but also the body’s connective tissue - aka fascia.
Fascia covers your entire body; from the deepest layer of your skin, all the way down to your bones. It houses 80% of the body’s nerve endings which means it plays a huge role in the healing process and addressing discomfort.
Lastly, FST targets the joint capsule. This allows for space to be created between joints and get rid of that “stuck” feeling!

Steve is a maestro! Aside from suffering from chronic inflexibility my whole life, I was hampered for about a year with significant pain in my hip. After consults from orthopedic surgeons and traditional PT, I was informed the issue was muscular and soft tissue. After about three sessions with Steve, I started to see significant improvement. I have been working for Steve for several months now, and in additions to eliminating my hip issues, I have noticed an overall improvement to body altogether. It has been a tremendous life improvement for me, and I am extremely grateful. I could not recommend more!

Steve is excellent at listening to what the client needs any given day. It is never the same stretch twice. I always leave feeling better and the night after a stretch I always sleep so well. I highly recommend it to everyone as part of your wellness or self care repertoire.

Steve is great at what he does. Not only does he explain what he is doing he also explains why he is doing it. He details what you may experience post stretch for the next few days. I felt great after my stretch with him and highly recommend anyone who is interested in getting stretched to reach out to him ASAP.
